LOBBY Sofa by Claude Verney

The three-seater Lobby sofa was designed by architect and designer Claude Verney for the firm Modern Design in the 1980s and manufactured in Spain under license by Ibersit, one of Spain’s leading and most prestigious office furniture companies during the final decades of the 20th century.

A piece featuring spectacular curved lines with a continuous tubular steel frame painted black. Its removable upholstery in a soft salmon color adds warmth, making the space feel lighter and more welcoming.

Its modular configuration in three distinct sections optimizes ergonomics and gives the sofa a sense of dynamism and adaptability.

A surviving example of Spanish postmodern industrial design.

This sofa shows no obvious signs of use.
