Four-seater sofa designed by Karl-Erik Ekselius and produced by JOC (JO Carlssons Möbelindustri) in Sweden during the 1960s. A carefully restored piece, with renewed straps, foam and upholstery, respecting the original design and ensuring greater durability.
This sofa embodies Mid-Century Scandinavian design, combining functionality, balanced proportions and a quality designed to last for many years.
Karl-Erik Ekselius was a Swedish designer who was mainly active from the 1950s onwards, developing pieces designed for everyday use, with well-resolved technical solutions and a sober aesthetic that has allowed his designs to remain relevant over time.
The base and frame are made of solid teak wood, with square-profile legs that elevate it, giving the piece a visual lightness.
An elegant and versatile piece with neutral grey upholstery that highlights the tufted seat and backrest.
This sofa shows no obvious signs of wear.
