Italian Oval Table

Italian-designed dining table. A spectacular piece with two curved semi-circular legs in chrome steel and a 20 mm transparent oval top.

Its transparent glass leaves the entire base visible, turning its support into a decorative element rather than a purely structural part. The chrome, meanwhile, reflects the light, creating a feeling of spaciousness. This was a very common combination in modern furniture produced in Italy during the 1960s and 1970s, when interior design sought to convey sophistication through simple lines and durable materials.
