G.Rinaldi Pan Am Chairs

750.00€

Pan Am chairs designed by Gastone Rinaldi for Rima, 1960. Restored chrome steel structure, with its shine recovered, and black leather seats.

One of the most representative pieces of post-war Italian design. This chair combines ergonomics, structural lightness and an organic aesthetic that remains absolutely contemporary.

The Pan Am chair was designed in the 1960s for Pan American World Airways, intended for use in its waiting rooms and reception areas. It is manufactured for RIMA (Rinaldi’s family business) and stands out for its enveloping silhouette and continuous curved chrome-plated steel structure reminiscent of the Pan Am corporate emblem, where the curved lines on a circle synthesise the idea of the globe and air routes.

These sturdy and comfortable pieces will be the stars of our living room, adding character and personality.

These chairs show minimal signs of use.
