Escala Floor Lamp by Estudi Blanc for Metalarte

Escala Floor Lamp designed by Joan Antoni Blanc and Joan Vidal (Estudi Blanc) for Metalarte in 1982.

A beautiful piece that was selected for the Delta ADI/FAD awards in 1984. Its structure of black lacquered iron profiles are joined together to form a Staircase. The Lampshade, with the same shape as the Base but inverted, is adjustable and uses halogen bulbs with adjustable light intensity by means of a foot switch.

The wiring has been checked and is working.

A minimalist lamp with elegant forms.

This piece shows minimal signs of use on the structure.
