COMO Pendant Lamp Peill and Putzler

COMO ceiling lamp designed by Aloys Ferdinand Gangkofner for Peill&Putzler (also produced by Raak), 1950. The shade, circular in shape with a lower opening, is made of hand-blown opal glass.
This lamp is often confused with the Satellite lamp that Vilhelm Wohlert designed for Louis Poulsen.

Peill & Putzler was a 1947 merger of two prominent German glass manufacturers, which closed in 1997.

The wiring has been checked, replaced and is in perfect condition.

A Mid-Century lamp that suits any decorative style and provides a beautiful diffused light accentuating the notches in the shade that characterise this model.

This piece shows no obvious signs of use.
