Champagne Chairs by Erwin and Estelle Laverne

Champagne Chairs by Erwin and Estelle Laverne

Set of four chairs designed by the Americans Erwine and Estelle Laverne for Formes Nouvelles, 1957. Spectacular pieces with transparent plexiglass seats and brown leather cushions with capitonné. The polished aluminium feet and base structures have been restored to their original shine.

These chairs are part of ‘The Invisible Group’, a group of various models of chairs in lucite or transparent plexiglass of which the “Champagne Chair” was the commercial success of the group.

Comfortable and timeless, these pieces stand out not only for their organic shape but also for their swivel mechanism that allows the seat to return to its place.

Completely original chairs that will be the centre of attention in our living room.

These pieces show minimal signs of use.
